It was fairly easy to track each shot as a team as we worked
together to pick out each shot in relevant timing so when recreating the
Breakfast Club we could make it as close to the real title sequence as we can
in a short space of time.
The storyboard was fairly easy as we all put forth ideas and
referred to the original. We missed out about two shots due to timing and
school facilities as the locations are very different but this never took a
step back to what we were trying to recreate.
Our location gave us a new meaning to the Breakfast Club as
there is clearly a huge change in generation from the time of the original to
now. For example, the school facilities are drastically different. This is
evident in the computer scene where we see a shot of a empty computer room.
From the technology in this scene we can see the drastic difference that each
generation has.
It was difficult to accurately re-create the title sequence
as there was a lot of new funetures we never quite used before.it took a bit of
time and effort to learn what to do but togather we did it in the end with only
a few minor errors.
We decided to try and copy the original to the actually
title sequence as we at least wanted to limit the problems and spend most of
our time on the work in progress in editing and by recreating with near enough
the same title sequence we could minimalizing
the errors when coming to editing.
